Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput joins Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'What Women Want'

Mira Rajput is stepping into a new spotlight as a guest on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s popular talk show What Women Want.

Kareena recently gave fans a glimpse of the upcoming appearance by sharing a photograph with Mira on her Instagram Stories.

The post introduced Mira as the latest guest on the new season of the show, known for its informal conversations about women’s lives and experiences.

Welcoming Mira, Kareena described her as “absolutely warm and lovely”, giving viewers an early hint at the tone of their conversation.

The appearance has also drawn attention because of the Bollywood connection between the two women.

Mira has been married to actor Shahid Kapoor since 2015, while Kareena and Shahid were previously in a relationship that lasted several years.

According to Gulf News, the relationship ended around the period when the former couple appeared together in Jab We Met. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the 2007 romantic comedy went on to become one of Indian cinema’s enduring favourites.

Years later, both Kareena and Shahid have moved on to family life. Kareena married actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012, and they have two sons, Taimur and Jehangir. Shahid and Mira, meanwhile, have two children, daughter Misha and son Zain.

Although Mira is not part of the film industry, she has built a public profile around topics including parenting, fitness, skincare and personal wellbeing. She has also ventured into business through her beauty venture.

That background makes her appearance on What Women Want a natural fit for a programme that Kareena has hosted since 2018. The show has explored subjects ranging from relationships and motherhood to careers, beauty and personal identity.
