IHC cancels cause list for chief justice

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday cancelled the cause list for cases fixed before Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar.

The cause lists of Justice Muhammad Asif for Sept 21 and 22 were also cancelled due to the unavailability of both judges.

Several cases were scheduled for hearing before the chief justice on Monday, including two petitions seeking a judicial inquiry into the fire incident at PIMS Hospital.

A petition challenging the collection of additional toll tax from non-M-Tag vehicles on motorways was also fixed before him. Meanwhile, the cause list for cases fixed before Justice Asif for Sept 21 and 22 was also cancelled. The registrar's office will re-fix all cases that were relisted following the cancellation of the cause lists.
