Medical team examines Imran at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI:

A medical team comprising doctors from public and private hospitals arrived at Adiala Jail on Sunday to examine PTI founder Imran Khan.

The medical team remained at the prison for around two hours before leaving after completing his medical examination, according to jail sources.

The team included doctors from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, along with an ophthalmologist and paramedical staff, and was headed by PIMS doctor Arif Khan, the sources added.

Further visits by doctors and relevant medical specialists were expected in the future.
