The actress described saying goodbye as surreal and bittersweet, while expressing pride in having played Emily and helped bring the series to audiences around the world. Her message also ended with a farewell to Emily Cooper, signalling the conclusion of her time as the character.

The timing of the wrap comes ahead of the show's final season, which Netflix has scheduled for December 24, 2026. Season 6 will take Emily beyond Paris, with official first look details confirming that Greece and Monaco will feature in the final chapter.

The story continues from Season 5, when Emily's relationship with Italian businessman Marcello Muratori ended and Gabriel learned that she was single again. Gabriel then invited Emily to join him in Greece, setting up one of the central storylines for the final season.

Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Minnie Driver and other returning cast members are also part of Season 6. Netflix has confirmed that the upcoming instalment will serve as the show's final season.

With filming now complete, fans have only a few months to wait before Emily's story reaches its conclusion on Netflix.
