'The Pitt' cast and crew celebrate Emmys sweep on set

The cast and crew of The Pitt celebrated their impressive run at the 2026 Emmy Awards together on the set of the medical drama, with Noah Wyle and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill highlighting the team effort behind the series.

Warner Bros. shared a video of the celebration on September 15, showing the cast and crew cheering as their Emmy statuettes were placed at the front desk of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

“We wouldn’t be looking at all these without everyone’s contribution,” Gemmill said in the video, adding that “everyone brings something to the table.” 

Wyle, who plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch and serves as an executive producer, also thanked the people who work behind the scenes on the show.

“I really hope that you all felt it when I said last night that this was for everybody that’s on the stage right now,” Wyle said. “This really is a collective achievement. Trophies are great, but look at each other and look at what we bring to this set, to this space, every day.”

Wyle won his second Emmy for the series during Monday’s ceremony. In his acceptance speech, he thanked the cast and crew for their work and said they would be returning to the set the following day to continue working on the show.

“I grew up in L.A. I’m a Hollywood kid,” Wyle said during his speech. “I was raised on a television and movie theaters were my place of worship. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do and this is the only club I’ve ever wanted to join. Thank you for accepting me.”

The Pitt follows emergency medicine doctors at different stages of their careers as they navigate the intense environment of an urban emergency room, while their personal lives occasionally spill into their work.

The series is set to return for its third season on HBO Max in January 2027.
