Jemima Goldsmith ties the knot with Irish businessman Cameron O'Reilly

Jemima Goldsmith officially tied the knot with Dublin-born businessman Cameron O’Reilly, 22 years after her high-profile marriage to former prime minister Imran Khan came to an end.

The Daily Mail reported that Jemima, 52 and Cameron, 62 exhcanged their vows on Sunday in a private ceremony. 

The wedding news was confirmed by Goldsmith’s sister-in-law, Jemima Jones, who shared a photograph from the occasion to her Instagram account. “Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date. What a happy day!” she captioned the post. 

The marriage came after reports earlier this year that Jemima and O’Reilly had got engaged. The Daily Mail previously reported that the couple had been in a relationship for around a year before taking the next step. The British newspaper also reported the couple's marriage.

Jemima has established a career in the film and television industry, working as a writer and film producer, while O’Reilly has been involved in the business world.

From a prominent Irish family, O'Reilly is the son of the late rugby union player and businessman Sir Anthony O’Reilly. His family background and career have kept him connected to Ireland’s business and sporting circles.

Jemima, meanwhile, became internationally known through her marriage to Imran. The couple tied the knot in 1995 and remained together for nine years before announcing their separation in 2004. Their relationship attracted considerable international attention, particularly because of Imran's later political career and his eventual rise to become Pakistan’s prime minister.

Jemima and Imran also share two sons — Sulaiman and Kasim — who have largely maintained private lives despite their parents’ high public profiles, while O'Reilly also has two sons from his previous marriage.

Jemima, too, has generally kept her personal life away from the spotlight in recent years, making the announcement of her marriage to O’Reilly a notable development. Currently, Goldsmith and her sons are campaigning for the release of Khan from prison, following his arrest in 2023 on charges of corruption.
