Jemima Goldsmith ties the knot with Irish businessman Cameron O'Reilly

Ex-wife of former prime minister Imran Khan remarries 22 years after split

Jemima Goldsmith officially tied the knot with Dublin-born businessman Cameron O’Reilly, 22 years after her high-profile marriage to former prime minister Imran Khan came to an end.

The Daily Mail reported that Jemima, 52 and Cameron, 62 exhcanged their vows on Sunday in a private ceremony.

The wedding news was confirmed by Goldsmith’s sister-in-law, Jemima Jones, who shared a photograph from the occasion to her Instagram account.

“Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date. What a happy day!” she captioned the post.

The photograph showed the couple posing outside what appeared to be a picturesque château. The intimate setting offered a glimpse into the celebrations, although no official photographs of Jemima and O’Reilly from the ceremony have been publicly released so far.

The marriage came after reports earlier this year that Jemima and O’Reilly had got engaged. The Daily Mail previously reported that the couple had been in a relationship for around a year before taking the next step.

From a prominent Irish family, O'Reilly is the son of the late rugby union player and businessman Sir Anthony O’Reilly. His family background and career have kept him connected to Ireland’s business and sporting circles. 

Jemima has established a career in the film and television industry, working as a writer and film producer, while O’Reilly has been involved in the business world.

She became internationally known through her marriage to the incarcerated PTI founder. The couple tied the knot in 1995 and remained together for nine years before announcing their separation in 2004. Their relationship attracted considerable international attention.

Jemima and Imran also share two sons — Sulaiman and Kasim — who have largely maintained private lives despite their parents’ high public profiles, while O'Reilly also has two sons from his previous marriage.

She, too, has generally kept her personal life away from the spotlight in recent years, making the announcement of her marriage to O’Reilly a notable development.
