Actor backs her friend after she faced backlash over her dance videos, voiceovers and other online content

Zhalay Sarhadi has come to the defense of her friend and fellow actor Hira Mani after the latter faced criticism over her social media content.

Zhalay took to the comments section of an Instagram creator who had mocked Hira for her videos and online antics, calling out those who had been making derogatory remarks about the actor.

“It takes a special kind of sad person to come on socials and say something bad and derogatory about someone who is doing nothing wrong to them. She is enjoying her best life. What goes of your mother or father? Also, whatever someone says, that just shows who they are,” Zhalay wrote.

Her comments came after Hira faced criticism over the past few weeks for the dance videos, voiceovers and other content she has been sharing on social media. One creator, in particular, described her approach as “cheap” and questioned why the actor wanted to seek fame in that way.
