SANGHAR:

Two young men were killed in a road accident when their car slammed into a tractor-trolley loaded with bamboo on the Nawabshah-Sanghar Road, with the bamboo stalks smashing through the windscreen and penetrating deep into the vehicle.

The accident occurred when a car travelling from Nawabshah towards Sanghar crashed into the rear of the heavily loaded tractor-trolley ahead of it, according to rescue sources. The impact was so severe that the unusually long bamboo poles broke through the car's front windscreen and extended as far as its rear section.

Both occupants of the car sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. They were identified as Rana Saqib, and Nauman Jutt.

The crash sparked panic and grief in the area, with locals gathering at the scene and helping with rescue efforts. Police were alerted, while the bodies were shifted after completion of the necessary legal formalities for handover to the families.
