KARACHI:

Three more Pakistani crew members of the oil tanker Honor 25 are scheduled to arrive in Karachi on Wednesday, after spending two days in Ethiopia.

Second Officer Hussain Yousuf, Shehar Imran Ali and Muhammad Yasin were taken to Ethiopia and will depart for Pakistan at 9:15am aboard Ethiopian Airlines flight ET694. The flight is scheduled to arrive at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi at 4:40pm.

The Honor 25 had 17 crew members on board, including 10 Pakistanis. Somali pirates seized the vessel on April 21, in the territorial waters of Somalia's semi-autonomous Puntland region while it was carrying oil from Oman to Somalia.

Somali and Puntland security forces retook the vessel last week in a joint operation. During the operation, pirates opened fire on the hostages, killing five crew members, including three Pakistanis, and injuring five others, four of them Pakistanis.

The bodies of the three Pakistani victims and four injured sailors were brought to Karachi on Sunday.

Yousuf and Ali are Karachi residents, while Yasin belongs to Swat.
