Reece Weaver opens up about marriage, public scrutiny and husband Will Allman as she makes her Broadway debut

Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Reece Weaver has opened up about how she and husband Will Allman deal with public attention surrounding their marriage as she begins her Broadway debut.

Weaver, who rose to prominence through Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts, told E! News that she and Allman have learned to ignore outside opinions while navigating increased attention on their relationship.

“Pressure is a privilege,” Weaver said, acknowledging the unusual level of interest in their marriage. The couple has established boundaries around what they share with Weaver’s 1.4 million Instagram followers while continuing to document parts of their life together.

Weaver said one of the biggest lessons they have learned is to develop “thick skin” and avoid placing their worth or identity in other people’s opinions. She added that both positive and negative comments have not interfered with their marriage.

The couple has also supported each other through Weaver’s latest career move. She recently relocated from Alabama to New York City for a six-week run as Roxie Hart in Chicago, marking her Broadway debut on September 7.

According to Weaver, Allman has played a major role in supporting her during the transition, including driving their dog Ruby from Alabama to New York and helping manage their new routine.

The former cheerleader said the experience has become a shared journey for the couple, adding that marriage means viewing major life decisions as a lifestyle for both partners.

Looking ahead, Weaver said she hopes their next decade includes a home with enough land for a chicken coop and Highland cows. She also plans to release her second book, This Is Where You Bloom, in May, and said she and Allman may consider starting a family in the future.
