IHC adjourns Imaan, Chattha sentence pleas
.

ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of petitions seeking suspension of the sentences awarded to lawyers Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chattha in a controversial tweets case until September 23, without proceedings.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard the petitions. Counsel for the petitioners, including Faisal Siddiqi, Riasat Ali Azad and Zainab Janjua, appeared before the court. The hearing could not proceed because the prosecutor for the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) was unavailable.
