Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban reportedly speaking again after divorce

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly speaking again following their divorce, with the former couple considering spending part of Christmas together with their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

According to sources, the former couple have reached a more cordial stage in their relationship nine months after separating.

A source said, “Things have gotten so much better,” adding that Kidman and Urban are “actually speaking again.”

Urban has reportedly suggested that Kidman spend Christmas with him and their daughters in Australia. The reported plans follow a commitment the pair made during their divorce to continue spending special occasions together as a family.

According to the source, “When they broke up, they promised the girls they would still spend special occasions together as a family and both Keith and Nicole do want to be true to their word.”

The insider said the arrangement would require Kidman to adjust her schedule, but that the actress is open to spending “at least some of Christmas Day” with her former husband and their daughters.

If the plans go ahead, it would mark the first Christmas the former couple have spent together since their divorce. Kidman reportedly spent Christmas with the girls in Australia last year without Urban.

Kidman filed for divorce in Nashville in September 2025, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The divorce was finalised in January 2026.

Under the agreement, Kidman became the primary residential parent, while the couple retained joint custody of their daughters.

The agreement also states that Kidman and Urban should “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”

Kidman and Urban met in Los Angeles in 2005 and married in Sydney in 2006. They welcomed Sunday Rose in 2008 and Faith Margaret in 2010. Their marriage lasted almost two decades before their separation and subsequent divorce.
