Cop penalised for 'mistreating' citizen

RAWALPINDI:

 A police constable was suspended for inappropriate treatment of a citizen at the Gujjarkhan Police Station.

A video of the incident has surfaced. CPO Rawalpindi Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera took notice of the incident and suspended the constable, issued him a charge sheet and ordered an inquiry.

According to sources, a video of the incident has emerged.

The video shows that after a dispute between two parties, both sides were shifted to Gujarkhan Police Station following a 15 Call. During this time, a man named Fayyaz can be seen sitting at the police station without shoes and wearing torn clothes.

Voices of several other people can also be heard in the video, who are allegedly from the other side.

During the conversation, an argument takes place between the man in torn clothes and people sitting in the room.
