Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) beat New South Wales (NSW) in a Super Over after both teams scored 139 in their allotted 20 overs. NSW scored 18 runs in the Super Over. Then, with three runs required off the last ball, T&T’s Lendl Simmons attempted a big shot but only succeeded in giving away his wicket as NSW won the match. Meanwhile, in an earlier fixture in Hyderabad, South Australia Redbacks rode on the back of an impressive Callum Ferguson half-century to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 19 runs.
