Maryam, Nawaz laud Saudi envoy's services

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have praised Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki's diplomatic services for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador Al-Malki paid a farewell call on the leaders at the Chief Minister's Office, describing his stay in Pakistan as memorable.
He also expressed gratitude for the cordial welcome and hospitality extended to him during his tenure in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Punjab Assembly members from Muzaffargarh met the PML-N president and the CM to discuss the political situation in the country and development projects in South Punjab.
According to a statement, the legislators paid tribute to both leaders for a record number of development projects initiated in the region. They thanked the chief minister for launching the electrobus and clean water projects in Muzaffargarh.
The provincial assembly members said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had set an example by launching every mega project from South Punjab.
Also on Wednesday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed the deputy commissioners of Gujrat, Rawalpindi and Attock to launch swift drainage operations during rain. She sought a report on the post-rain drainage situation.
