Three children go missing in Haripur
Police fail to trace any of three minors as families fear for their safety

Three children, including an innocent girl, have mysteriously gone missing from different urban areas of Haripur within a week. The disappearance of the children has also become a puzzle for police, while fear has gripped citizens.
Relatives are deeply concerned over the failure of police to trace the children so far, while DPO Haripur has assured the affected families of all possible efforts.
An innocent girl and two boys mysteriously went missing from different areas of Haripur within the same week. Their disappearance has raised questions over police performance, while the incidents have become a serious mystery for the local police.
News of innocent children disappearing one after another has created a wave of fear and concern across the district.
During the past seven days, three children disappeared from separate residential areas of Haripur while playing near their homes or going outside for some work. Following the incidents, fears have been expressed about the presence of a kidnapping gang in the area.
The affected families searched extensively among relatives and in surrounding areas on their own, but after finding no clue, they registered missing reports at the relevant police stations.
Local police launched investigations after receiving information about the incidents. However, even after a week, no concrete progress or clue regarding the missing children has been obtained.
Police officials said the matter was being investigated from all angles and CCTV footage and modern technology were being used, but the case remained a mystery for the time being.
Meanwhile, DPO Haripur Shafiullah Gandapur chaired an important meeting regarding the case of missing girl Ayat Noor. SSP Investigation Shabbir Hussain Shah, DSP City Sajjad Khan, SHOs of Sarai Saleh, TIP and Saddar police stations, OCU in-charge, District Security Branch in-charge, IT team, the girl's father, civil society representatives, local elders and residents attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed in detail the progress made so far in the case, investigative matters and steps being taken for the recovery of the girl. Civil society representatives and local residents also presented their suggestions.
