NA, Senate to meet on August 17

ISLAMABAD:

President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday approved the summoning of the National Assembly session on August 17 at 5:00pm, while the Senate session will be held at 4:00pm on the same day.

In a post on the social media platform X, the President's Secretariat said, "The president has approved the awarding of military honours to 1,172 personnel from the armed forces and civil armed forces." "The president has approved summoning the National Assembly session on August 17 at 5pm and the Senate session at 4pm," it added.

Important legislative agenda would be taken up during the session of both the houses of parliament.
