‘Off Campus’ lands Shay Rudolph as Summer Di Laurentis in season 2

Shay Rudolph joins Prime Video’s college drama as Summer, the sister of Stephen Kalyn’s Dean Di Laurentis

Amazon Prime Video’s Off Campus is adding a familiar young star to its cast, with Shay Rudolph joining the second season as Summer Di Laurentis. The casting brings Rudolph into the world of the college drama based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series.

Rudolph will appear in the guest role of Summer, who is the sister of Dean Di Laurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn. Season 2 is set to centre on the developing romance between Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla, and Dean, making Summer’s arrival particularly significant to the storyline.

The news announced through an Instagram post. The production has not revealed extensive details about Summer’s storyline or how she will affect the central relationship between Allie and Dean.

Off Campus is based on Kennedy’s popular book series and follows members of an elite college ice hockey team alongside the women in their lives. The series explores relationships, heartbreak, friendship and the challenges of young adulthood while placing romance at the centre of its story.

The casting also gives Rudolph an opportunity to step into a new television role following her work on Netflix’s The Baby-Sitters Club.
