A special edition Nintendo Switch 2 themed around The Legend of Zelda appears to have leaked ahead of the upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the franchise’s 40th anniversary.

Photos circulating online appear to show packaging for a Zelda-themed Switch 2 console alongside a matching Pro Controller.

The original source of the images remains unclear, but the designs appear consistent with previous rumours that Nintendo is preparing special-edition hardware.

The reported console and controller feature black, dark green and gold colours, with an elaborate gold Triforce design. The packaging also carries logos marking The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary.
