PCB approves budget Rs2.6b for 2010-11

A budget of Rs2.6 billion for 2010-11 was approved by the governing body of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.

LAHORE: A budget of Rs2.6 billion for 2010-11 was approved by the governing body of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.

PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt informed that the budget has been approved by the PCB Core Committee and that there have been no salary cuts of any of the board members.

Butt also said commented on the fact that PCB is a large staff, while BCCI is run by only 39 people.

The PCB’s expected income for the current fiscal year id Rs2.6 billion while projected expenses are Rs2.3 billion.

The PCB Chief also informed that 75 per cent of the budget will be spent on domestic and international cricket.
