PIACL board approves bonus for employees

ISLAMABAD:

The board of directors of the Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) has approved a bonus equal to one basic salary for the airline's employees during its 102nd meeting, the first held after the airline's privatisation.

In an official statement issued on Saturday, the board said the decision reflected the new management's strategy of placing the workforce at the centre of efforts to revive and expand the national carrier.

The bonus aims to encourage employees, acknowledge their services and prepare them to contribute towards the airline's new goals.
