Authorities confirmed blogger received medical attention after emergency response as family thanked supporters

Perez Hilton's representatives have issued a fresh statement following the celebrity blogger's hospitalisation, urging the public to respect his privacy while he continues to receive medical care after a distressing incident that prompted an emergency response at his Miami home.

The update came one day after authorities responded to multiple emergency calls concerning Hilton following a livestream that alarmed viewers. Officials later confirmed that the individual involved had been safely recovered and transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Law enforcement also said crisis response personnel and licensed mental health professionals were made available to support the family during the incident.

Speaking on behalf of Hilton, agent Dante Rusciolelli said there was no additional confirmed information regarding the blogger's condition at this stage.

"At this time, we do not have any additional confirmed information to share regarding Perez Hilton's condition," the statement said. "Our focus remains on Perez's health, recovery, and the privacy of both him and his family during this incredibly difficult time."

The statement also thanked supporters for the messages of concern received since news of the incident emerged.

Hilton's team said they were grateful for the outpouring of support from fans, friends and members of the media, while asking everyone to continue respecting the family's privacy. The representative added that any verified updates would come directly through official channels rather than speculation circulating online.

Earlier, Rusciolelli and Golden Artists Entertainment co chief executive Rebekah Kochan had released a separate statement acknowledging the concerning content that had spread across social media. They said they had been unable to establish direct contact with Hilton immediately after the incident and stressed that his wellbeing and that of his family remained the priority.

The Miami Dade Sheriff's Office previously confirmed deputies responded after receiving multiple reports regarding an individual livestreaming acts of self harm. According to the agency, deputies first spoke with family members before working to safely resolve the situation. Officials later confirmed the individual had been transported to hospital for treatment.

Additional reporting from multiple outlets stated that 911 dispatch audio described the emergency as an apparent suicide attempt. Authorities themselves have not publicly characterised the incident beyond confirming the emergency response, the safe recovery and the ongoing medical care.

The incident has also led to action on social media. TikTok confirmed that Hilton's account was banned after the livestream, with the platform stating that automated moderation systems detected the content before the broadcast was ultimately removed.

Hilton, who recently relocated with his family to Miami, has not personally commented since the incident. His family has previously thanked supporters for their compassion while confirming that he is receiving medical care and asking for privacy during his recovery.
