UK-based family comes under fire
Gunmen opened fire on vehicle carrying AJK politician's relatives; no casualties reported

Unidentified armed men opened fire on a vehicle carrying the nephew of Muslim Conference candidate for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Khateeb, and his family near Mankiala Bridge in the Rawat area. All occupants remained unharmed, though the vehicle sustained damage.
According to police, complainant Mohammad Zulqarnain, a resident of the United Kingdom, said he had travelled to Pakistan with his wife and children to attend his cousin's wedding.
The vehicle they were travelling in displayed a poster of the Muslim Conference candidate on its rear window.
He stated that while turning the vehicle near Mankiala Bridge on the way to Sardar Market, a black Toyota Fortuner approached from behind, repeatedly sounded its horn and then stopped.
Armed men got out of the vehicle and opened fire with rifles.
The bullets struck the rear windscreen, bumper and lower portion of the vehicle. All family members escaped unhurt. The complainant alleged that the attackers intended to kill them.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
