Passengers vandalise PIA aircraft

ISLAMABAD:

Several passengers aboard a PIA flight from Dubai to Islamabad allegedly created a disturbance, attempted to force their way into the cockpit and damaged the aircraft after the flight was delayed for more than three hours due to heightened regional security measures.

According to sources, the incident occurred aboard PIA flight PK-212 before departure from Dubai.

During the disturbance, one passenger kicked and shattered a window near the front passenger cabin, prompting the captain and first officer to summon Dubai police, who subsequently detained the disruptive passengers.
