Chris Brown’s former housekeeper is seeking to recover a nearly $13 million court judgment by requesting access to the singer’s financial records, including earnings from his current tour.

According to TMZ, Maria Avila has filed court documents claiming Brown has “made no effort to satisfy any portion of the judgment” awarded in her favour following a jury trial last month.

She is now asking the court to allow her access to his financial information so she can pursue the money she says she is owed.

The filing reportedly argues that Brown is currently earning substantial income while performing on The R&B Tour with Usher.

Avila is seeking to have payments related to the tour, along with income from other entertainment projects and residuals, redirected towards satisfying the outstanding judgment.

According to the court documents obtained, Avila believes Brown has shown no willingness to co-operate in paying the award. As a result, she is requesting an order requiring the singer to disclose details of his finances.

The filing also asks the court to require Brown to appear for a financial examination, a legal process that could provide information about his assets, income and other financial interests available to satisfy the judgment.

The legal dispute stems from a lawsuit brought by Avila after she was attacked by one of Brown’s dogs at his home.

According to TMZ, a jury ruled in her favour last month and awarded damages totalling nearly $13 million.

The latest court application does not introduce new allegations relating to the dog attack itself but focuses on enforcing the existing judgment.

If granted, the requests could allow Avila to pursue Brown’s reported tour earnings and other entertainment-related income as part of efforts to recover the amount awarded by the court
