Social media influencer booked over firing

LAHORE:

Police have registered a case against a social media influencer and several other suspects over allegations of assault, criminal intimidation and firing during an altercation at a café in Nawab Town.

According to the first information report (FIR) lodged at Nawab Town police station on the complaint of Ayesha Sharafat, she and her two friends had gone to the café at around 4am on when they were confronted by two men and two women.

The FIR alleged that the group assaulted the complainant women and two of the male suspects took out pistols. One of the suspects, identified in the FIR as Mir Shafee, allegedly opened fire.

The complainant alleged that the assault had been carried out at the behest of Rajab Butt.
