Unprovoked firing by Indian forces near Sialkot

Unprovoked gunfire by the Indian Border Security force, near the Bajwat sector in Sialkot injured at least two people.

SIALKOT: Unprovoked gunfire by the Indian Border Security force, near the Bajwat sector in Sialkot on Wednesday injured at least two people.

A Rangers' spokesperson said the Indian BSF fired shots  in Sialkot sector using automatic weapons.

The injured include one security officer and a 14-year-old girl.

The firing stopped after the Pakistani Rangers retaliated.

Sher Zaman | 13 years ago | Reply These scuffles in the border areas must be stopped in order to resume the peace process. The peace process was hindered after the Mumbai attacks and Pakistan is now trying its level best to resume the process.
