Social media creator Danielle Walter, who built a massive following documenting her search for love, has married Lucas Alcantara in an intimate wedding in San Francisco.

The 33-year-old influencer and Alcantara tied the knot on July 21 at San Francisco City Hall, surrounded by around 50 of their closest family members and friends. Although the couple had originally planned to elope, they ultimately decided they couldn't imagine celebrating such a milestone without their loved ones.

Walter, often dubbed the "Carrie Bradshaw of San Francisco" for her dating advice and candid relationship content, first met Alcantara at the Bay Club of San Francisco in the summer of 2025. Their romance quickly blossomed after he asked for her number at the gym, and the pair announced their relationship publicly in September 2025. Lucas later proposed during a sunset outing in Half Moon Bay in March 2026.

The couple embraced an Old Hollywood theme for their wedding, with rich red décor, velvet accents and a formal black-tie dress code. Walter wore a custom strapless gown designed by Jin Wang, featuring a detachable overskirt that transformed into a sleek column silhouette for the reception. She completed the look with a veil from Homa Bridal.

The ceremony featured personalised handwritten vows, with Walter walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of Coldplay's Magic. Following the City Hall ceremony, officiated by a close friend, the newlyweds rode one of San Francisco's iconic cable cars to the University Club, where guests enjoyed a reception showcasing Bay Area favourites, including Dungeness crab cakes, alongside steak and maple-glazed salmon. Dessert was cheesecake, one of Walter's favourites.

Walter and Alcantara shared their first dance to Coldplay's Everglow, while wedding band Radio Gatsby provided a mix of jazz, funk and supper club classics throughout the evening.

Reflecting on married life, Alcantara said the wedding gave him "a different perspective and hope for the future," while Walter described the marriage as the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

"It's the beginning of the best new chapter we could ever imagine," she said.
