Actor and Special Olympics Pakistan Ambassador Sarwat Gilani shared heartwarming moments from the organisation's three-day national competition, which concluded this week after running from July 21 to 23.

Taking to Instagram, Gilani posted a series of photos and videos recapping the event, showing her interacting with athletes, volunteering alongside organisers and presenting awards during the closing ceremony.

Special Olympics Pakistan also documented the event on its official Instagram account, highlighting the athletes' achievements and the spirit of the games.

"A total of 82 athletes from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Federal, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan regions have stepped onto the field with great talent and the true spirit of inclusion. Every moment of the competition reflects the passion and dedication these incredible athletes bring to the game," the organisation wrote.

Gilani has long been an advocate for the organisation's mission.

Reflecting on an earlier event in February, she wrote: "At Special Olympics Pakistan, we celebrate athletes who redefine courage, resilience, and possibility every single day. They don't just compete — they inspire a nation. They remind us that inclusion is not charity; it is justice. It is love in action."
