Apex court fixes Imran's contempt plea for July 20
The Supreme Court has finally fixed for July 20 (Monday) the contempt proceedings over the non-implementation of its order allowing meetings with PTI founder Imran Khan.
A three-judge bench headed by Justice MuhammadAli Mazahar will hear the
contempt petition over the non-implementation of its March 24 order directing jail authorities to allow the PTI founder to meet his family members and lawyers.
On June 18, the same bench issued notices to all respondents, including the superintendent of Adiala Jail and the Punjab home secretary. Notices were also issued to the Attorney General for Pakistan and the advocate generals for Islamabad and Punjab.
Meanwhile, the same bench will take up Imaan Mazari advocate and her husband case on July 21.
