Man held for shooting friend

LAHORE:

 Police arrested a man accused of shooting and injuring his friend in Mughalpura.

According to the police, the suspect, Ali Akbar, allegedly took his friend, Tayyab, away from his home before shooting him. The victim's family was informed by a hospital that he had been admitted with a gunshot wound. The police said the bullet entered through Tayyab's back and exited through his abdomen.

Doctors declared him out of danger. The Mughalpura police arrested the suspect in a raid and seized the pistol allegedly used in the attack. The police said Akbar had previous criminal record.
