Panel wraps up LHC judges' interviews

ISLAMABAD:

The judges interview committee has completed interviews for the appointment of 10 additional judges to the Lahore High Court (LHC), following a similar exercise for the Islamabad and Balochistan high courts, sources said.

According to the sources, the committee met at the Supreme Court in Islamabad to the interview candidates.

The committee forwarded its recommendations to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP).

The JCP is scheduled to meet on July 21 to consider the appointments of the judges.
