Huma Saleem accuses unnamed national cricketer of harassment, threats

Model says she plans to pursue legal action, claiming she has evidence to support her allegations

Pakistani model and social media influencer Huma Saleem has levelled serious allegations against an unnamed national cricketer, accusing him of harassment, threats, emotional abuse and attempting to sabotage her career.

In a candid and emotional note shared on Instagram, the model detailed the distress she said she had been facing.

According to her, the unnamed cricketer, whom she described as a "cheat, fraud, and womaniser", had continued to target her despite the two having had no contact for the past two months.

"This famous cricketer has crossed all limits with me today by threatening and harassing me," Huma wrote. She further alleged that his behaviour had been abusive throughout their relationship, adding that she had previously chosen to remain silent.

"I have faced this harassment even while I was with him. I have been in an abusive relationship and remained silent, but this time my threshold has exceeded," she added.

Huma also alleged that the individual had attempted to interfere with her professional life by contacting her colleagues, family members and workplace associates in an effort to damage her career.

She further claimed that she intended to expose the cricketer's conduct, including what she alleged was the misuse of funds provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Saying she was preparing to pursue legal action, Huma said she would present evidence supporting her allegations to her legal team. "Every story has another side. He defamed me in front of people, cheated on me, and lied to everyone about us," she wrote.

She added that she planned to initiate legal proceedings in the coming days to bring the matter before the courts.

The cricketer referred to by Huma has not been publicly identified, and there has been no public response to her allegations.

Huma is a well-known figure in Pakistan's fashion industry. As a model, digital creator and social media influencer, she is recognised for her modelling campaigns, lifestyle content and collaborations with major brands.
