Robbers run rampant in Pindi

RAWALPINDI:

Citizens were deprived of cash, jewellery, mobile phones, one car and 12 motorcycles in more than two dozen incidents of robbery, snatching, burglary and theft across Rawalpindi.

According to police, armed robbers snatched a mobile phone from Sharafat in the Banni police area. In New Town, Abdullah and Zohaib Khan were deprived of two mobile phones in separate incidents. Shoaib's motorcycle was stolen in Westridge, while Saddam was robbed of his mobile phone in Chaklala.

In other incidents, Bilal Sajjad's car was stolen from the Saddar Wah area. Motorcycles belonging to Moez in Banni, Abdul Qadeer, Shahan, Abdullah and Azeem in New Town, Karim Khan in Sadiqabad, Saeed in Civil Lines, Ahmad Zakria and Ishaq in Saddar Wah Cantonment and Ishaq in Saddar Bairooni were also stolen.
