Dengue Defenses: MDA starts spray in parks, green belts

MULTAN: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has launched an anti-mosquito spray campaign to cover all parks and greenbelts as a preventive measure against the dengue virus.  On instructions from MDA managing director (MD) Mumtaz Qureshi, Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) MD Mehmood Javed Bhatti has launched an anti-mosquito campaign in the district on Tuesday. Four power sprayers have been purchased by the MDA to complete the task in the shortest possible time. The PHA MD said that the spray should be completed by the end of September.
