Five killed in family feud shootout in K-P's Lakki Marwat
Rescue 1122 spokesperson says longstanding murder dispute between families triggered incident

At least five people, including a woman, were killed on Saturday in an exchange of fire between two feuding families in Lakki Marwat, Bilal Ahmad Faizi, Spokesperson for Rescue 1122 Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), told The Express Tribune.
According to Faizi, the shooting stemmed from a longstanding murder dispute between the two families, whose feud dated back nearly a decade.
"Three people from one family and two from the other lost their lives in the exchange of fire near Wanda Haji Gul in Tortalle Manjiwala," he said.
Faizi said Rescue 1122 medical teams reached the scene and shifted the bodies to Lakki City Hospital.

On June 14, K-P's rescue service had confirmed the death of four people in a firing incident in the Odeen Kalla area of Domel after a land dispute turned violent.
Rescue 1122 spokesperson had said that the shooting claimed the lives of a man and his two sons, as well as another victim who was reportedly a close relative.
Two days earlier, on Friday, June 12, at least three people, including an 8-year-old girl, were killed and several others injured in separate explosion incidents in K-P's Lakki Marwat and Bajaur districts.
