The Balochistan government has issued release orders for the payment of Rs1.11 crore in compensation to the legal heirs of each police personnel martyred in Ziarat.

This was announced by Shahid Rind, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Information and Political Affairs, in a statement issued on Friday.

Rind said all families of the martyrs will receive the compensation at their doorsteps to ensure immediate relief to the bereaved families.

According to him, on the special instructions of Chief Minister Balochistan, all administrative and financial formalities for the disbursement of compensation were completed with utmost urgency.

He added that the provincial government will also fully support the families of the martyrs by bearing the maintenance costs, welfare needs of the dependents, and all educational expenses of their children.

"Financial compensation can never be a substitute for human lives," Rind said, "yet the Balochistan government stands firmly with the families of the martyrs in this hour of grief and will continue to extend every possible support to them in the future."
