Charli xcx announces global listening sessions for new album 'Music, Fashion, Film'
The events will take place on July 17, exactly one week before 'Music, Fashion, Film' arrives on July 24

Charli XCX is giving fans an early chance to hear her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film by hosting a series of exclusive listening sessions in 25 cities around the world ahead of its release later this month.
The pop star announced that the events will take place on July 17, exactly one week before the album arrives on July 24. Fans selected through a ballot system will be invited to hear the record in full before its official release, with sessions planned across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.
Among the cities included are London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto, making the rollout one of Charli's biggest global fan events to date. Each listening party is expected to offer an intimate first experience of the singer's seventh studio album.
Music, Fashion, Film marks Charli's first solo studio album since the cultural phenomenon of Brat. She has previously described the new project as "inherently different", signalling a fresh creative direction after the lime-green aesthetic and club-inspired sound that defined the Brat era.
The album has already been previewed through the singles Rock Music, SS26, and Wink Wink, each showcasing a blend of experimental pop, fashion influences and cinematic storytelling. The project has also inspired an accompanying world tour, which begins shortly after the album's release.
Fans can register for the listening sessions through Charli XCX's official website, with invitations being distributed ahead of the events. The singer has encouraged attendees to experience the album together before it becomes available on streaming platforms worldwide.
The listening sessions continue Charli's tradition of immersive album rollouts, allowing fans to engage with her music in a communal setting before release day. With Music, Fashion, Film already generating significant anticipation, the global events are expected to be among the most sought-after music experiences of the summer.
