Pakistan, Turkiye to enhance maritime ties

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and Türkiye have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the maritime and transport sectors.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, held in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the existing cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye and discussed ways to expand collaboration in maritime affairs, transport infrastructure and logistics. They underscored the importance of closer coordination.
