Queer Eye star Karamo Brown has sparked fresh speculation about his relationship with Jussie Smollett after opening up about finding someone he believes could be his "forever person."

During a recent appearance on Carlos King's podcast, Brown spoke candidly about his love life, revealing that he is in a serious relationship with a fellow celebrity. Although he did not identify his partner, he described the relationship as one built on trust, security and mutual understanding.

"It's powerful when you meet someone who you feel 100 percent safe with," Brown said, adding that he believes the relationship could lead to marriage. He also explained that the couple has intentionally kept their romance private to protect it from public scrutiny.

Brown's comments come days after he was photographed spending time with former Empire actor Jussie Smollett in Los Angeles, prompting widespread dating rumours. Neither Brown nor Smollett has publicly confirmed they are in a relationship, and representatives for both have not commented on the speculation.

The reported romance follows changes in both stars' personal lives. Brown was previously engaged to director Ian Jordan before the pair separated in 2020 and later dated photographer Carlos Medel until 2025. Smollett, meanwhile, announced his engagement to Jabari Redd in 2025, though reports later suggested the couple had ended their relationship.

Smollett also remains a high-profile public figure following his widely publicised legal case. In 2024, the Illinois Supreme Court overturned his 2021 disorderly conduct conviction, ruling that he should not have been prosecuted a second time after the original charges had been dismissed.

While the dating rumours continue to circulate, neither Brown nor Smollett has officially addressed the nature of their relationship.
