Is Justin Baldoni making a comeback? PR experts weigh in on strategy after Blake Lively lawsuit
With legal proceedings over, attention has shifted from the courtroom to Baldoni's next creative project

Justin Baldoni's next career move is expected to focus on patience rather than an immediate return to Hollywood, with public relations experts suggesting that time and quality work will be key to rebuilding his reputation.
The actor and filmmaker has largely remained out of the spotlight following the conclusion of his legal dispute with Blake Lively.
The highly publicised case, which stemmed from allegations made during the production of It Ends With Us, generated months of legal proceedings and widespread media attention.
While the settlement brought the courtroom battle to an end, industry observers believe Baldoni still faces the challenge of restoring confidence among studios, collaborators and audiences.
PR expert Mark Borkowski told Us Weekly that Baldoni's best approach is to avoid rushing back into the public eye. "Justin's only route back is to make something good and be quiet for two years," Borkowski said.
Communications expert David Johnson shared a similar assessment, arguing that recovery from a high-profile controversy depends on avoiding further disputes, continuing to produce strong work and allowing public opinion to shift naturally over time.
Before the legal battle, Baldoni had established himself as both an actor and filmmaker. Alongside his role as Rafael Solano in Jane the Virgin, he directed Five Feet Apart and Clouds, while also producing projects including The Garfield Movie, Ezra and The Senior.
The report notes that Baldoni has not announced any upcoming acting, directing or producing projects and is currently focused on spending time with his family.
Although reports have suggested he remains interested in future filmmaking opportunities, no official plans have been confirmed.
With the legal proceedings now concluded, attention has shifted from the courtroom to whether Baldoni's next creative project can help re-establish his standing in the entertainment industry.
