Sarah Ferguson is reportedly at the centre of fresh scrutiny after newly reported emails allegedly revealed she visited Jeffrey Epstein multiple times while he was serving a jail sentence.
According to details published by The Telegraph, the Duchess of York exchanged emails with Epstein arranging several meetings during his 13-month sentence in Florida. The correspondence reportedly referred to Epstein as her "dear spectacular and special friend Jeffrey".
One of the reported meetings allegedly took place around nine months into Epstein's sentence, when Ferguson is said to have requested a "quick cup of tea" to discuss her Mother's Army charity.
Another planned visit reportedly did not go ahead, although the pair are said to have met on another occasion.
According to the reported emails, Ferguson allegedly asked for Epstein's driver to collect her from the airport, writing, "Can your brilliant Yanoush pick me up, bring me to you, The Great one!! And then take me to Miami!??? Please with roses on top!"
The emails were also reportedly signed off with "Love Sarah The red Head.!!."
The Telegraph further claimed Ferguson visited Epstein again shortly after his release from jail.
The renewed attention comes against the backdrop of allegations involving Prince Andrew. Virginia Giuffre alleged she was trafficked by Epstein and accused the Duke of York of sexually assaulting her between 2001 and 2002.
Prince Andrew consistently denied the allegations and later reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre without admitting liability.
The latest email reports have not resulted in any new legal allegations against Ferguson, but they have renewed public interest in her reported relationship with Epstein.
