'Bachelor in Paradise' Kylee Russell and Aven Jones end relationship after three years
Kylee Russell confirmed she and Aven Jones have ended their on-and-off relationship after three years

Bachelor in Paradise alumni Kylee Russell and Aven Jones have ended their relationship after nearly three years of breakups and reconciliations.
Russell, 29, confirmed the split during the June 23 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, saying the pair had reached the end of a lengthy effort to make their relationship work.
“I'm glad to finally close that chapter,” Russell said. “Aven and I are no longer together. I think I'm OK with that, actually, I know I'm OK with that.”
She added, “We're just both two very different people who want two very different things in life, and we clearly tried for three years. No ill will towards him at all, but I think it's time to officially close that chapter and move on and actually find my person.”
The couple first met during the 2023 season of Bachelor in Paradise. Russell later explained that although she had been interested in Jones before filming, they had never met in person until arriving on the beach.
Speaking on The Viall Files podcast in January 2024, she said, “Aven and I never met prior to walking on the beach. That second day I was there, that was the first time we were face to face in the same place.”
Russell had previously revealed that she developed an attraction to Jones after watching him on Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette.
After leaving Bachelor in Paradise together, the couple's relationship faced difficulties. In December 2023, shortly after making their romance Instagram official, Russell announced a breakup and accused Jones of infidelity.
The pair later reconciled, with Russell saying in July 2024 that Jones had attended therapy and worked to rebuild trust. They reunited again in 2025, moved in together and began planning a future.
However, Russell said a disagreement about where to raise a family ultimately proved difficult to overcome.
She explained that she wanted to remain close to family on the East Coast, while Jones had established his life in San Diego. According to Russell, the differing visions for their future led to the decision to part ways permanently.
