The Devil Wears Prada 2 will make its streaming debut on Disney+ and Hulu on July 29, following a strong theatrical run that has generated $677 million at the worldwide box office.

Released in cinemas on May 1, the sequel arrives two decades after the original The Devil Wears Prada premiered in 2006. The film reunites audiences with several familiar characters from the fashion-focused comedy-drama, including Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, and Miranda Priestly, portrayed by Meryl Streep.

In the sequel, Andy has advanced to the role of features editor at Runway magazine, while Emily Charlton, played by Emily Blunt, has become a senior executive at Dior. The story follows the challenges facing Runway as the publication attempts to navigate the aftermath of a scandal and secure much-needed advertising revenue.

Alongside Hathaway, Streep and Blunt, returning cast members include Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman. The sequel also introduces several new faces, including Kenneth Branagh, Patrick Brammall, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux and Pauline Chalamet.

The film features costume design by Molly Rogers and includes appearances from several high-profile figures from the worlds of fashion, media and entertainment. Among those making cameo appearances are Ashley Graham, Donatella Versace, Lady Gaga, Kara Swisher, Jenna Bush Hager, Paige DeSorbo, Hannah Berner and Tina Brown.

Behind the camera, director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna returned after working on the original film. Wendy Finerman produced the sequel, while Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt and McKenna served as executive producers.

With its upcoming Disney+ and Hulu launch, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to reach a wider audience after becoming one of the summer's biggest box-office successes.
