YouTuber Alexander Zabel Jr has been arrested once again in connection with disruptive activity outside the home of Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, according to reports.

Authorities say the 54-year-old was taken into custody in Tucson, Arizona, on June 11, 2026, after deputies responded to complaints about his behaviour while livestreaming outside Guthrie’s residence. The arrest marks at least the second time Zabel has been detained in the same neighbourhood within days.

Zabel is accused of public nuisance and resisting arrest, with officials alleging that his conduct, including livestreaming activity and disruptive behaviour, prompted multiple calls from residents. In one incident, a sheriff’s sergeant was reportedly knocked to the ground during the arrest process.

The arrest comes as authorities continue to struggle with an influx of online content creators and self-described true-crime streamers gathering outside Guthrie’s home. The neighbourhood has seen repeated disturbances in recent months, including trespassing complaints and incidents of public nuisance behaviour linked to individuals attempting to document or “investigate” the missing person case.

Zabel, who runs the YouTube channel CriminalNetwork, has previously been arrested alongside other streamers, including Troy Lewis “DAA Juice” Bradshaw and Damian Todd Enderle, as part of wider enforcement action by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials have repeatedly warned against interference in the ongoing investigation into Guthrie’s disappearance, which remains unsolved. Authorities have confirmed the case is still active, with no suspects publicly identified despite extensive searches and thousands of tips received.

The situation has escalated tensions in the Catalina Foothills neighbourhood, where residents have reportedly faced ongoing disruption from outsiders drawn to the high-profile case. Law enforcement has since increased patrols and enforcement measures in an effort to restore order.

Guthrie, the mother of NBC journalist Savannah Guthrie, disappeared from her Arizona home on February 1, 2026, and has not been seen since. The FBI and local authorities continue to investigate.
