Pakistan, Tajikistan set $200m trade target

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed on a comprehensive road-map to boost bilateral trade to $200 million over the next three years while expanding cooperation in energy, agriculture, information technology, health, education and tourism during the 8th Session of the Joint Commission Meeting.

Both sides have fixed on different potential sectors including trade, economy and Scientific-technical cooperation held in Dushanbe.

The two-day meeting, held on June 2-3, was co-chaired by Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Jum'a Daler Shofaqir, and Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari.
