Singer Tahira Syed took to Instagram to dismiss rumours surrounding her health, reassuring fans that she is safe and in good health.

The veteran ghazal and folk singer personally addressed misinformation circulating online about her alleged death. “Hello everyone, I have been seeing a rumour about my health. By the grace of God, I am completely fine. I am in New York and living a good life. Thank you all for your prayers,” the veteran singer said in the clip, countering the misinformation and reassuring the public.

The statement came after reports about Syed's death spread rapidly across social media, causing concern among fans and the entertainment industry.

After the clarification, fans flooded comments expressing relief, prayers, and heartfelt wishes for the singer’s continued health, appreciating her for addressing the rumours personally.

Daughter of legendary singer Malika Pukhraj, Syed is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s most celebrated ghazal and folk singers, best known for timeless classics such as Woh Baatein Teri and Na Jao.
