Taylor Swift is reportedly planning a highly selective guest list for her upcoming wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce, with new claims suggesting that former close friend Karlie Kloss is unlikely to receive an invitation.

According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, Swift is focusing on inviting people she believes will “remain in her life forever,” as she narrows down her inner circle ahead of the ceremony.

The report suggests that Kloss, once considered part of Swift’s close friendship group, is no longer within that trusted circle.

An insider claimed, “When it comes to Karlie, Taylor ultimately felt that the trust in the friendship had been broken,” adding that Swift believed “Karlie’s intentions were not as genuine as she once thought, and that the friendship became more about proximity to Taylor’s fame than a real bond.”

The source further stated that Swift “chose to distance herself” from Kloss, and that “Karlie’s actions over the past several years have only reinforced the decision.”

One reported point of tension referenced by the insider was Kloss allegedly inviting Katy Perry and Scooter Braun to her 2019 wedding.

Swift’s long-running dispute with Braun, particularly over the ownership of her early music catalogue, was later resolved when she reacquired her masters in 2025. Swift and Perry have also since reconciled after their past public feud.
