Intellectual Property: ‘Pakistan committed to rights protection’

IPO- Pakistan Chairman said Pakistan is committed to curb the menace of piracy and counterfeiting.

ISLAMABAD: Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO- Pakistan) Chairman Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi said that Pakistan is committed for IP rights protection and enforcement coordination with the law enforcing agencies in order to curb the menace of piracy and counterfeiting. He stated this while addressing the 49th series of Meetings of the Member States of World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva on Monday. According to a message received here from Geneva, Afridi, Director General Sajjad Ahmad Bhutta and Director Meesaq Arif represented Pakistan in the General Assembly sessions and shared their experiences with the delegations of member countries.
